How to prevent polyester full stretch yarn from shrinking during washing?

To prevent shrinkage of polyester full stretch yarn during washing, follow these guidelines:
Check Care Labels: Always read and follow the care labels on the garment or textile made from polyester full stretch yarn. These labels provide specific instructions for washing and drying that will help maintain the fabric's integrity.
Use Cold Water: Wash the fabric in cold or lukewarm water. Hot water can sometimes cause shrinkage in polyester. Lower temperatures help preserve the fabric's size and shape.
Gentle Cycle: Select the gentle or delicate cycle on the washing machine. This reduces the mechanical stress on the fabric, minimizing the chances of shrinkage.
Avoid High Heat: When drying, opt for low heat settings in the dryer or air-dry the fabric. High heat can impact polyester and lead to potential shrinkage.
Promptly Remove from Dryer: Once the drying cycle is complete, promptly remove the fabric or garment from the dryer to prevent prolonged exposure to heat and humidity.
Use Mild Detergents: Choose mild or gentle detergents designed for synthetic fabrics like polyester. Harsh chemicals can sometimes affect the fabric negatively.
Test Before Washing: If you're concerned about shrinkage, test a small inconspicuous area of the fabric before washing it entirely to ensure the chosen washing and drying methods are suitable.
